Meet Sarah Enos, LM

I'm Sarah Enos, a licensed midwife with a deeply personal connection to birth. As a mother of five who has experienced birth in both hospital and birth center settings, I understand firsthand the profound impact that compassionate, respectful care can have on a family's experience.

Each of my births was unique, and those experiences shaped a deep conviction: birth should be respected. Not managed. Not rushed. Not treated as an event to be controlled. Birth deserves to be honored, supported, and trusted.

I believe every woman carries within her the innate strength and wisdom to birth her baby. Sometimes that strength simply needs to be recognized, encouraged, and supported by someone who truly believes in her. That is my role.

Faith + Trust Midwifery was founded on this belief and on a desire to provide families across North Texas with the kind of care that transforms the birth experience.

I am a graduate of the Association of Texas Midwives Midwifery Training Program, where I was honored to receive the Academic Excellence Scholarship.

My additional training includes specialized education in breech birth through Reteach Breech with Dr. Stuart Fischbein, MD, and Breech Without Borders with Dr. Bradley Meyer, MD. I have also completed continuing education focused on twin birth.

I maintain current certifications in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association, ensuring I am prepared to provide safe, evidence-based care while supporting the physiologic process of birth.

The Philosophy Behind the Practice

Birth is not a medical emergency.

For healthy, low-risk pregnancies, birth is a natural process that the body is designed to navigate. A midwife's role is to watch carefully, support deeply, and intervene only when truly needed.

You are the expert on yourself.

I bring clinical knowledge and experience; you bring intimate knowledge of your body, your family, and your values. Good care is a genuine collaboration — not a provider handing down decisions.

The birth experience matters.

How a woman feels during and after birth stays with her for a lifetime. I am committed to making that experience one of strength, safety, and deep respect — whatever form it takes.

Faith over fear.

Fear has no place in a birth space. Faith — in your body, in the process, in your support team — is the foundation of a peaceful and empowering birth.
